TROPHY FIRST MUSKY!!!

Fish of every 10,000 casts. Don’t tell Jack Neil Allen, 10, that as it took him just three to catch his first musky ever fishing on Lake Mohawksin Wednesday. Casting from his grandparent’s dock using his grandma’s bass fishing pole, Jack hooked into a real beauty and the battle to land the 46” musky that weighed in at 25 pounds was underway. Considering the young angler wasn’t prepared to do battle with such a beast, he faced a bit of a dilemma when it came time to bring it ashore. Unable to lift the massive fish from the out of the water, which must have been some tense moments with the fish of a lifetime hanging by a thread, Jack called on Rod Flohr to assist with the situation and he gladly lent a hand by being the net man. The trophy musky was pulled from the water and a bunch of pictures were taken of a memory that will last a lifetime.
