St. Mary's Pancake Breakfast Sign

I would be interested to know who decided to cut out the sign that advertised St. Mary's Pancake Breakfast that was held on Sunday. There were three signs that hung on the fence around St. Mary's School - one for the Autumfest, one for the St. Mary's Food booth and one for the Breakfast. Sunday morn...

Re: Greed at the fall ride !

>>Although the outside vendors bring in a different variety of food and wares, I don't like that they compete with the local businesses and do not have to pay a dime to the city or contribute to MDA. Yes, vendors paid $750 to rent a spot in Washington Park. That was a way to get them to pay somethin...

Re: Free Speech not respected by War Proponents

I have to agree MedicDVG. There is a difference between being anti-war and anti-American. I believe that many of the anti-war protestors are not anti-American; however, there are many individuals, such as the flag burner, that are anti-American. What is important now is, as Kerry stated, to find oth...

Re: Tomahawk National Guard

Currently, St. Mary's Catholic Church's youth group is taking donations of travel sized items that are being sent to our troops overseas. This includes what you can purchase at most stores or some of the complimentary items you find in hotels. If you have these items, I am sure you can give them to ...

Re: Anti-War Protests - regular schedule

I would definately be proud of my children if they chose to enter the service. However, I pray that they don't, no different then I pray that they don't choose an occupation that could possibly end their life. I have family members that have served (including a grandfather that served as a bomber pi...

Re: Anti-War Protests - regular schedule

I know for a fact that Pat would be proud of her children, no matter their decision. If they decided to enlist, she may try to explain to them her fear of losing them in times of war, but she would always respect and accept her children's decisions. And I think that most people read that post and re...

Re: Anti-War Protests - regular schedule

I am not going to post whether or not I believe we should go to war with Iraq because, as in any political decision, what the people believe is of little if any consequence to the politicians. If they decide to go to war they will do it even if the the majority of the population disagrees. I do want...
