How would you react if your replacement publicly, well globally, appologized for your actions an effectivly denounced your term of managment?

Re: DTV transition

It's a website the shows some tv shows and movies for free. Most popular shows they have for a few episodes back, so if you missed something you can go back. Basically you watch shows when you want, but current episodes take a day or so to be uploaded.

Also, free.

Well, if you really want to argue semantics, no you are not pro-life either. I think the idea is that it is ironic for someone to be pro-life when it comes to abortion, however are in favor of the death penalty. Pro-life means for life, all life. People who are anti-abortion but pro death penalty are not pro-life. They are anti-abortion. You cannot pick and choose if you ar...

I wonder how many "pro-lifers" are in favor of the death penalty for adult criminals? Jeff, Not sure I understand the point of your question. There is a big difference between a criminal who has commited a horrific crime, has been tried by jury, convicted and sentenced to death, and an in...

He deserves to be called on it. No, not from anyone other than the people whose feet touch the mat he doesn't. Typically, the biggest problems with high school athletics derives from the players' parents. If he was acting like an ***, then I'm sure he has been called on it by plenty of people. Besi...

Re: Repaving County Highway CC

Well, I can just about guaruntee, (and Kerry can probably back this up), that we have far better roads up here than the streets in Madison. University Ave and Highland come to mind. This isn't to say that CC doesn't need to be repaved, but if they aren't fixing their own roads, where is the money go...

Did the detectors go off because they lost power or because the back up batteries were dead? The advantage with wired smoke detectors is that when one goes off, they all go off. Another concern are the stories of kids taking the batteries out of traditional smoke detectors to use them for games or t...

Normally, it really doesn't take government too long to take a good idea and turn it into a bad joke. In this case I'm actually pretty torn wether or not I agree with this. I absolutly do not like the idea of more govenment/more laws. However, there are plenty of issues with smoke dectectors not bei...

Easy Turbo! The benefits of recycling, green energy and waste reduction are pretty obvious. I definately don't need to be sold on it. However, having to pay extra to force companies to do the right thing seems a little backwards. Besides, If your packet is monitored by the government and has as many...

There is a common saying in the southern part of this state that "Madison is 50 square miles surrounded by reality." I'm not sure if the land size approximation is correct, but the overall idea is dead on. I work in Madison and the contrast in thought process between the two cities is nigh...

I wish more employers would give their employees to make a positive impact as TMCC has. There never seems to be a shortage of people willing to donate for raffles, which shows that the generousity goes past the bounds of the co-worker setting. Thank you Bruce Ridley, Donna Bucks, Char Andreachi, Kim...
