Gun Control

Hey Old Scout, what was the topic name that you posted a list of sayings or slogans about gun control? One of them was, "If guns kill people, then pencils mispell words". Or, could you repeat that list. Many thanks.

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

Quite a while back there was this UFO chaser, or whatever he was, on a TV talk show that was convinced that other life that's out there, or so-called aliens would never make themselves known to us earth people until they saw that we could get along with each other on this planet. His theory was that...

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

While being mighty tasty, the Sunfish just isn't mighty enough. The Mighty Muskys would work, but I think the Indians caught Muskys. I think they chopped there heads off with a 'hatchet'. Oh no, now what?

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

And by the way Haley, in your Jan.4th-9:36 P.M. post, did you call the Hatchets a "lame, high school football team". I personally, and I'm sure most involved with this thread, take great offense at that statement. How dare you belittle the efforts and hard work of these boys. Winning every...

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

The Tomahawk Hatchets have been the Hatchets forever. How could anyone think of changing it's name now, other than being part of a new group of people nation wide that persevere in "political correctness", like the same people that don't want us to say "Merry Christmas" anymore. ...

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

I figured it would be, just as the "Tomahawk Hatchets" is now derogatory. Why don't I say, "Hey, handsome man with the Indian Name, get a grip, we love you"! How's this? Ladies and gentleman, the Merrill BlueJays have fallen behind and the Boys from Tomahawk with the chopping too...

Re: Tomahawk Hatchet

I hope the Hatchet doesn't get the axe. Who ever heard of a school or team to disparage or derogate their team with a derogatory name. That would be detracting your team and it's image. In fact the Indian culture should feel honored that anyone would place their namesakes and heritage in such high e...

2006

Well it seems I'm the first poster in the new year of 2006. What an honor has been bestowed on me. Being that I roamed along side of the dinosaurs, it is a wonder I'm still awake. But I guess at this age your sleep dwindles. Anyhow I wish you all happy trails throughout this coming year. Health and ...

Re: inteligent design

Personally, I don't think so. We are not the only galaxy or universe. Questioning who this supreme being might be, to create such a vast universe is really, in my opinion, not the question. I would like to think the question is, "What" created this universe. Is intelligent design verses ev...

Jeff, I agree. I'm always in doubt, and I'm always having fun. Except in most cases it doesn't drive people crazy, they think I'm crazy! I guess I have a crazy sense of humor. Like I'm sure the earth is spinning on it's axis, because I'm always dizzy too. The postings on this topic only substantiate...

I don't know who wrote the bible, but you can bet if it was a contemporary author he'd be on the best seller list and we'd have heard his name somewhere along the line.

.......we were taught that patrols should never leave and return by the same routes and same times..... How many roads do you think they have there? When you get to where you're going there aren't any alternate routes back. What do you want them to do, drive in and fly out? You said you were serious.

This had repeatedly happened a second and third time. The cops had no leads and the investigation went nowhere. The guy decided to w...

So are you saying that because you don't know what the outcome of your gun will yield 50 years from now, you wouldn't want to protect your family now?
