Re: Ups-N-Downs

While the Ellis girl is a very sad tradgedy and my heart truly goes out to her family members,Broca, you have to be kidding. If that would happen to one of mine I would be totally devistated, and for that reason I want to be able to protect my loved ones. Now just because the poor girl was involved ...

Re: Ups-N-Downs

The Senator Dave Zien types DON'T share in a 'fantasy' of killing someone breaking into their house or assaulting them. They just want to, and have the guts to, protect themseves and their familys. Remember just one of the past horror stories for example: Some disgruntled pyschopath flips out and go...

Re: Ups-N-Downs

What could be worse than having to hand over your guns after a knock on your door? Answer: Handing them over to a Russian or a China-man. Back when the Y2K scare was prevalent, Clinton said if the next morning proved to be as chaotic as was imagined, he would have declared 'Marshall Law". Durin...

Re: Deer Hunters Tee Shirts

Jeff, never thought of the inter-twined theory, but so true. My "80" sits adjacent to public land and inevitably each year there are public hunters on my 80. In most cases it isn't a blatant tresspass at all. These poor guys are totally lost. They have no idea where your property line is. ...

Deer Hunters Tee Shirts

A while back there was discussion on this site about tee shirts at the "fall ride". Well here's another can of worms. I saw a shirt in blaze orange showing a Laotian in a tree stand. Above the drawing it said, "Happy Hunting in Wisconsin". Under the drawing it said, "You're ...

Re: Target of scorn, slander ...

Does any body remember, or know of the Kohler Strike in the fifties. That was the longest strike in history. There are many documentories and books on it. It lasted for 12 years or 15 or something like that. I was a young kid that went along with my father to strike at the gate. I had to stay in the...

Re: Still more to pay out ...

The way I hear it is, he asked some woman out for a date at work. She said no. From then on she had a hard time in the workplace. So they don't catagorize that as sexual harassment, they call it, creating a hostile work environment. Hey, you go out with me or I can make it rough around here for you....

Re: Still more to pay out ...

Yah, I don't get it!!! I thought when you sexually harass someone in the workplace you get fired. This guy gets generously compensated. He's got to be laughing all the way to the bank. He sells his house and a very reasonable fast selling price and takes the free $150,000 and moves to "I don't ...

Your high school 2nd half is somewhat what I said after that pathetic show of ineptitude. I think it would be fun to watch the PP's (pathetic packers) play the Badgers. Then Barry could show that Packer coach some coaching skills.

Even more so than Orwells "1984" it is more reminesant of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World". The only differance is that test tubes weren't needed for the transition of this sytem. That has been achieved by calculated mass brain washing and propaganda.

Re: The angriest I have ever been.

Second hand smoke is unintentually inhaled by being in public. You know what is a real joke to me is putting a combination of Sudafed, drano, farmer fertilizer and that white powder from old flashlight batteries up your nose. Wow how stupid do you have to be to do such an unnatural thing. It's a lot...

His name is Carl Pfeifer. That lot on the corner before the cranberry farm is on the corner of Pfeifer Road and 86. Pfeifer Road is named after him. He grew up in the house on the right going down the road. He doesn't live there anymore but plays in his lot on the corner alot. People always said tha...

Re: PCA Landfill?

I've got an idea. Maybe instead of building that fourth cell, we could throw all that fill into the 17 foot hole they called New Orleans. (I'm sure FEMA would pay for the trucking) Then in 2006 they can start rebuilding on it. Key West is at sea level and the highest and only elevation on the island...

Dopey D. great, we're friends again. I'd hate to think I left an impression of not being a God fearing person. And as far as the Haulacost (sp?) I think it was unconsionable. Do what you know and don't be slow in the path of Rita. I wish you and yours a safe experience. I rode out two hurricanes and...

You Dopey Dwarf, you don't know how to read, or at least to process the words you see. What makes you think I'd like to thank whomever took prayer out of school. I said that someone in government must fear prayer in school AS IF it was dangerous to society. I also said that I never thought so. IF so...

Re: What happened at Fall Ride 2005

The Speedway bands were fantastic. While "FOGHAT" was the headliner and great fun to watch, nothing should be taken from the regional and local bands I saw there. Namely, "5 Mile Scream", "Elmer Twitch" and last but not least, our own "Storm". If you just blew...

While not being a racist or bigoted in any way, I would have to say I'm not bigoted in the OTHER direction either. Some people may be offended seeing a shirt saying that "Jesus Saves". There are racists among us as well God loving and God fearing people. Life if full of choices. Why should...

Re: Evading the gas prices

There was a show on the "Speed" channel about gas milage. That 'expert' said by driving 55 on a 65 mph freeway will improve gas milage by 14 per cent. Also this friend of mine who drives a larger Honda motorcycle said the miles he was able to travel on a full tank, he was getting on a half...
