Re: Downtown

Has any one looked at trying to open a teen center or "dry bar" with video games, computers for on-line chats & games, music, etc??

McKenzie vs GB Packers

Mike McKenzie signed a new contract with the Packers a couple of years ago. He received $3.5 million just to sign that deal. Now he does not want to honor the last two years of that contract. He feels underpaid at $3 mill/year. He makes his dispeasure with his contract sound noble because he is &quo...

I like Log Jam's Brown Ale. I wish they'd try to add an Imperial Stout or a Barley Wine to their product line.

Re: outsourcing

I'd be more interested in putting Congress on Social Security & Medicare for retirement plans.
Then watch how fast the "system" would be fixed.
As it stands right now, why would they fix what doesn't apply to them??

Re: Cabin Fever

Ken, I like Lakefront's Riverwest ale, but my current favorites come from a little brewery in Olympia, WA called Fish Tale Ales. Their Imperial stout, barley wine, & an Imperial IPA that they brewed in honor of their 10th anniversary called "10 Squared" are all great tastes. I've got a...

Aphephilia- It is possible to enjoy tasting various styles of beer with out being a soak. I am sorry you had the experience that you did, but that doesn't mean that we need to be tea-totallers because of that. There are some real artists in the Midwest craft/micro brewing industry. Tasting fairs let...

Re: Super Bowl Half Time

We're doing a great job of protesting to each other that we wouldn't condone such crap on TV. Has anyone sent a letter or e-mail to the TV Network? I have not, but will this week.

Kerry,
Where I thought I was going with my post was that
with all the crap we already have on TV, we shouldn't have been so suprised that this happened. Somewhere I got lost on the way to the soapbox.

OK. I'm ignorant.

You exhausted the discrete informational sources. Given your past history with the people involved, I don't see a problem with you making an enquiry to this board.

Hey Scout,
If the NFC North could put together a composite team from the Pack, Bears, Lions, & Viqueens THEN they would have a team that might get past the first round of the playoffs!

Re: Congratulations Dr. Cortte!!

From your description, Dr. Cortte sounds like an admirable physician. What award did he win? While singing his praises, both you & the first respondant to your post failed to tell us that.

Just being nosey!
