Re: Hey Bush Bashers!!

So Bush remains. Here are some things I will probably miss in the next four years: -Roe Vs. Wade -Freedom of Speech (and those other pesky rights in the constitution) -Talking on the phone without the FBI listening (Thank you, Patriot Act) -The last remaining allies that we will undoubtably lose whe...

John Kerry makes dream...

Yes, thank God George Bush is going to win by a wide margin. And thank God that dogs can talk, and the earth is flat, the tooth fairy exists, can you see where I'm going with this? :D Personally I think that president that can't quite handle eating pretzels shouldn't have a CHANCE in this election ;...

Re: Actually I am glad Boos was caught...

Regardless of any of the suspects' pasts, if Waas was being abused she should have gone to the police herself. Nobody deserves to be "choked (the cause of death), punched, pushed into a fire pit, burned with cigarettes and shot with a pellet gun." how horrible for the family having such gr...

Re: Kerry yet another non-truth on stem cell research

Yes baby, we all know how proud you are of yourself for never having taken advantage of welfare. And my reason to support Kerry has nothing to do with the legalization of pot (which i'll admit will probably never happen.)I support Kerry because of his anti-war stance. At least he has acknowledged th...

NO_2, I don't think Dubya or his cronies have been very honest either: LIE #1: "The evidence indicates that Iraq is reconstituting its nuclear weapons program ... Iraq has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes and other equipment need for gas centrifuges, which are used to enrich u...

Re: Possible Postponed Elections?

I think the possibility of postponed elections is extremely dangerous. Yet it is suspicious because we constantly are told that another "terrorist attack" is on the way, and the warning level is constantly raised, and when you pair that scenario with the ability to delay or not hold electi...

Re: Possible Postponed Elections?

Jeff i ended the post with "what do you think about that" which in my book means what is your opinion. if you have a problem with the semantics of my posts, i suggest teaching Message Board 101 so that we lesser educated users can fit your standard.

Re: Possible Postponed Elections?

My reason for posting that story wasnt to say "look what they're doing" but more "what if this happened". i just like to find out what other's opinions are and how they are alike or differ from my own. I find thats the best way to learn. Sorry if anyone misunderstood the message.

Possible Postponed Elections?

I'm not sure if anyone is aware, but the Bush administration is proposing legislature that would give the Department of Homeland Security the power to postpone or cancel elections in the event of a terrorist attack. read all about it here

What do you think about that?
