Re: Town Hall Meeting on Smoking Band

No, no, no, no Kkmar!!!! Now hold on there partner!!!! You can't just ride in here on your Texas stud and jump on this Board sounding like the voice of reason !!! There must be some protocol you're breaking but I can't think of it off hand. I mean, eh, what your saying makes sense and you're taking ...

Re: Town Hall Meeting on Smoking Band

Ok, I think I understand where CarolAnn is coming from. If you look at her links in her posts they are all from smokershistory.com. If you go to their home page: http://www.smokershistory.com/index.htm you'll see it's just an anti-government hate filled web site. It proclaims itself with the title '...

Re: Town Hall Meeting on Smoking Band

CarrolAnn...one more try then its beddy-bye for me...I have to get up late tomorrow and I'm pushing early afternoon as I write. What's the cause of your passion on this subject? It's got to be more than the anti-smoking propaganda that you don't believe. So, what causes the heat? What's behind the p...

Re: Town Hall Meeting on Smoking Band

CarolAnn...I'll ignore your comment about my 'slimy mouth', you've never even seen me...not very pretty of you at all  Did you even read what my post was about or are you just always in attack mode? It seems to me that you're the one 'incapable of engaging in an intelligent discussion' with y...

Re: Town Hall Meeting on Smoking Band

CarolAnn...I'm curious. Other than your thinking that much of the anti-smoking studies might be BS and your seeming to be so anti anti-smoking...what other stake do you have in being this way? Are you a smoker? Do you have some connection with the tobacco industry? Maybe a lawyer working for the ind...

Hi Debbie, I see that your posting is about a week old and no replies. I'm from the class of '64 so I can't help you directly but you might try the THS Alumni website at http://www.hatchetville.com. Maybe some of your classmates are registered there and you can contact them. Another thing to try is ...

Re: Tony Werner

Hey Rob,

You're very welcome. I hope you were able to find some info on Tony. From his picture he looked like quite the character. Was that his 'flying hat' that he was wearing? What a sharp dressed man. Add some Snoopy goggles and he would be ready to go.

Easy KEN, easy...I'm just asking some questions? I'm not against it, I'm just trying to understand it. Sorry, if my assumption was wrong...I may have ...

Re: Tomahawk Tower

Could someone give a quick summary or what's been happening with Bradley Park for the past 30 or 40 years? The reason I ask is because while growing up in Tomahawk, in the '50s, Bradley Park had great tourist camping activity...tourists from out of town would come, with their families, and spend a w...

Deb wrote "Regardless, whom ever gets the nod, this country is in a big heap of concern!". That's the BEST thing that can be said of the situation we're in !!! On a scale of 1 to 10...1 being the worst and 10 being the best...I feel that both candidates, and their vices, rate in the 1.01 t...

Deltatango... I can't help you with info on Tony Werner but there are some posts from the past year that have 'Nokomis' as part of the subject. Re: Fall Ride

Me thinks that 11 arrested out of ~1500 wild and crazy partying bikers over a couple of days isn't too bad. I hope there were no injuries or property damage or serious crimes during the weekend. I also hope everyone had a great time and I read that the MDA reportedly grossed $200,000. Not too shabby.

Re: Now it's my turn ... A sister's perspective

Call me old fashioned and I know that I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, or in this case the grammar and spelling in those previous posts, but I know I do judge. I simply can't take the message seriously when the messenger does such a poor job of selling it. It really was lost in the translation.

Re: Protect Private Property Rights Of Business Owners In WI

I don't smoke and I hate the smell of smoke. It's a proven health hazard and every negative thing that has ever been said about it is mostly true. It's a nasty and stinky habit to have and to be around. In California the laws against smoking in public have been around for at least 10 years. In fact ...

tehutchinson, Back in June 2007 you had a similar post with a subject of 'Evil in US' and some text saying 'Making criminals out of children for consensual sexual activity is evil' with a huge page full of links. Now your current poll, posting and subject 'How else are we going to protect the childr...

Hmmm... What a uneasy and uncomfortable position it puts us in ( me / the people who wish the family well and may have contributed to their cause) with the knowledge that the generosity that they've received 'may' have been taken advantage of to some extent. They have obviously been hurt beyond any ...

Hey Jeff.... you're going to have a real hard time getting people to stay on topic. Talking about the 'cry baby' is so much easier and fun then having to think about the topics you brought up. I have a feeling this is going to drive you up the wall but maybe you can think of it as character building...
