Re: Proposed work place smoking ban in Rhinelander

I think the argument of "lost business" is very mislieading. Are the proponents of this assertion actually saying Wisconsinites have given up eating? It was a warm day in WI yesterday and you can now see more of the actual shape of people (like it or not) and I did not see any evidence of ...

What can you say. I let these things go. Larry Tobin has become known as the Limbaugh or O'Reilly of the Weekly newspaper in Wisconsin. Lots of spin. I particular liked the one about two or three years back where he admitted to breaking the law while riding his ATV illegally on public lands in Monta...

The Kunze family owned guns for what good it did them; so did Chris Jacobs. As a hunter for nearly fifty years and a one time NRA member I am well aware of and sick of their using the hunters in their antics as a front marketing group for the handgun industry in particular and their histrionics come...

Many people sacrifice and limit the number of children they have or have none at all as an act of social responsibility. Why not make it an equitable and just system and reward ...

By the way all populations end up being "controlled." Humans have a choice (and perhaps an ethical duty) at least; do it voluntarily or let nature do it (disease, starvation, wars over dwindling resources, species extinction from destroying our host, etc.).

A person's individual rights only extend to the point where they begin to negatively impact someone else. This applies to noise, gunfire, manure, or whatever. I can't imagine when championing the freedom from other's rudeness and inconsiderateness became "socialist".
