I do not believe the U.S. has the longest work week. In Colombia my son's family members work 12 hours/day 6 days/week with every other Sunday off. This is typical in Colombia.

Deb, here in Minnesota Target stores have always had the Salvation Army bell ringers between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is the first year they said no to them.

You know, I think these families must be going through **** . Ryan's Mom is one of the nicest people in Tomahawk, her heart has to be broken. I do have one thing in common with Martha. We have the same hometown, Nutley, New Jersey ;) Nutley is better known as the home of Hoffman-LaRoche, the developer and producer of valium as well as many other medicines. Maybe Martha is needing a lot of her hometown's best known product these days.
