Quit trashing President Obama's accomplishments.

Quit trashing President Obama's accomplishments. He has done more than any other President before him. He has an impressive list of accomplishments: None of them good ! !

Thank you Allan Bell

I will definitely miss reading Allan's columns. One of the first things I read when the Leader comes in the mail. I still think it would be great if his articles were published in a book and preserved for posterity. Not only are they entertaining, but they are also a good reference material about na...

Re: Walker

Can someone explain what the changes to the state employees unions have to do with private sector unions. If the place you are working is hiring workers such as you for those positions I would complain about corp. greed not the state gov. They had nothing to do with it. Just take a look at the local...

Re: Obamacare

Regardless who wrote it or said it, it sure seems to hit the nail on the head !

And I remember when Khrushchev said this !
"Your children will grow up under Communism"

Call it Communism, Socialism or what ever, it amounts to the same bad idea. !

Infamous Quote from Nikita Khrushchev "We can't expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism." Guess what, we are well on the way ...

Re: Obamacare

Makes perfect sense. Finally, a word to describe Obama, his administration and his voters. It should be included in the dictionary. Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society ...

Re: Strip rights, then clothes

That`s a pessimistic way to look at it. I see it as an honest way to look at it ! How many more years of tax and spend with a deficit such as we had, could Wis. has tolerated before the entire state went broke? Some times it takes a kick in the back side (or a bomb) to wake people up and realize wh...

Re: Strip rights, then clothes

So what is the big deal, he is no different than every other politician. The only thing different here, is there are a few people that are trying to make a big deal out of it and with the help of the media are trying to make a issue out of what is normal operating procedure for politicians since the...

Re: Campground in Bradley Park?

Someone needs to talk to the local campground owners and see what percent of sites are filled on a regular basis. For example the campground out at the race track which I believe has 100 sites. With that many sites close by why does the city have to compete with them and try to take business away fr...

Re: Gannett newspapers jounalists repremanded

This is probably close to the truth when it comes to most of the media.

If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed, if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed.

Frankly I don't think xyz1 would Recognize the truth if it bit him in the butt .!

Obviously the only one he is concerned about is himself. My impression is either on welfare and doesn't want to lose benefits, or a whining union member who is mad because he can't have it his way.
