Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

You might be in trouble Jeff, not sure titties is an acceptable word. Although, we all know that's what a cow has. No...wait...teats....never mind. Let me remind you Jeff that you suggested scantily clad women to Catfish for his Plantar Fascitus, (actually I'm sure your suggestion would have been th...

Re: Banner Ads

Well in that case I'm sure some of the gentlemen here would love to see what pops up when the content is 'toddies'.

Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

1st , just an FYI often times the parts barely covered in the SI Swimsuit issue are referred to as "toddies". 2nd, what is about going on vacation and a case of Plantar Fascitus? Old Scout you are the 3rd person I've heard mention that in the past week. Must be the new shoes and all the ex...

Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

So boys when you say 'toddies' do you mean an adult beverage or what is barely covered in the SI Swimsuit issue?

Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

Catfish sorry to hear of latest issue. Maybe kmartell (living in CA) would know how to hook you up with some of that medical marihoona. The N2O would be nice too, sorry wish I could hook you up.

Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

Interesting factoid Catfish! Of course I wouldn't know that there were pictures on licenses in the sixties because I wasn't old enough to drive until the seventies.

BTW, just beat a bit of that cabin fever with a great walk. A little cold on face but still a great walk. Good music helps.

Re: Voter ID and the Koch Brothers???

A phony drivers license in the 60's was a piece of cake in WI no pictures used. Gee Catfish why am I not surprised that you mastered that skill. Thanks too for the Charlie Sheen info. How did I ever miss that on Facebook. Seriously though, I think a picture ID of some sort probably isn't a bad idea....

neup99 maybe it is what's best for our state. Maybe not. I wanted to be sarcastic but I figured it's not worth it.

Re: Gas Prices Redux

Like any good catfish I think our Catfish is laying in the weeds waiting...waiting....La, la, la, la!

So kmartell maybe not 1955 (which I must say was a very good year) but go into the town's little grocery story and it could be 1965.

Re: Gas Prices Redux

kmartel, YIKES, not surprised with CA. Here in the Chippewa Valley last night it was $3.59. Not sure about today haven't left the house, don't plan on it, SNOWING AGAIN!!! Yes that cabin does exist. Quiet little lake, no jet skis, no Walleyes but plenty of panfish and Northern. Actually, 4 little ca...

Re: State Budget, State Workers

Can anyone enlighten me as to why the governor is yet again in Eau Claire today? 4th time in about a week. 3rd time flying in. This past weekend it was the American's for Prosperity bus that brought him. Each of the 3 times he has flown in for a brief visit it has been closed to the public. Seriousl...

Re: Gas Prices Redux

Compared to some parts of northern WI, yes it is a relatively cheap cabin. Mainly because it's not near a popular tourist destination. I know that an equal in the Tomahawk/Minocqua/Rhinelander area would be double. By renting a cabin a boat is included with that rental. If we were to camp we would n...

Gas Prices Redux

With gas prices creeping up, along with everything else, what are somethings anyone is doing to cut back? Travel plans for summer changing? We've turned a long camping weekend into a renting a no frills cottage weekend at the same location. With our truck getting 8-10 mpg pulling our travel trailer ...

Re: Northwoods Humor

A new nurse listened while Dr. Bryce was yelling, "Typhoid! Tetanus! Measles!"

The new nurse asked another nurse, "Why is he doing that?"
...
The other nurse replied, "Oh, he just likes to call the shots around here."

Re: Tomahawk High School

It pays to be a family man with low income. Seriously? If these same people own a home they pay property taxes, if they make a purchase in the grocery story they pay sales tax, tax on the fuel put in their car. They pay what they can and being allowed a tax credit doesn't make them non-contributors....
