Bush Seen Leading Kerry In 3 Battleground States - Poll

LOS ANGELES (AP)--President George W. Bush has a slight lead over Sen. John
F. Kerry in the battleground states of Missouri, Wisconsin, and Ohio,
according to new Los Angeles Times polls.

The polls showed Bush slightly ahead in Missouri and Wisconsin - within the
survey's margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points - the
newspaper reported Thursday. In Ohio, Bush's lead was only 1 percentage
point outside the margin of error.

The results were similar to those found in a national poll the Times
released earlier Thursday. That one showed Bush with the support of 49% of
registered voters to 46% for Kerry. The telephone poll of 1,352 registered
voters nationwide was conducted Saturday through Tuesday and had a margin of
error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

In the statewide polls, Bush led Kerry 46% to 44% in Missouri, 48% to 44% in
Wisconsin and 49% to 44% in Ohio. The polls, also conducted between Saturday
and Tuesday, involved 507 registered voters in Ohio, 512 in Wisconsin and
580 in Missouri.

In 2000, Bush won Missouri by almost 80,000 votes and Ohio by about 167,000.
He lost Wisconsin to former Vice President Al Gore by fewer than 6,000
votes. Bush and Kerry are both campaigning hard in all three states this
year.

Two hundred fifty-four Swift Boat Veterans have signed a letter saying John Kerry is not fit to be commander in chief, a point developed in some detail in the blockbuster new book by John O'Neill, aptly titled "Unfit for Command." At the 2003 reunion of Swift Boat Veterans, about 300 men showed up: 85 percent of them think Kerry is unfit to be president. (On the bright side, Kerry was voted, in absentia, "Most Likely to Run for President on His Phony War Record.") Fewer than 10 percent of all Swift Boat Veterans contacted refused to sign the letter.

So when you call Kerry a traitor , it`s because 250 people say they don`t want him as president!
Just because some people do not want you to be president,DOES NOT MAKE YOU A TRAITOR!
THINK before you talk.

The swift boat veterans against Kerry website has been shot full of holes and lies. Many of the Vet`s pictured were never contacted. Some that are pegged as voting for Bush ,are voting for Kerry. Others say they don`t know who they are voting for.

Don`t believe everything you read on the internet.Take your blinders off , and see the whole picture.

I hate to say it, but some of you are making this way to easy for No_2. Try just bypassing his/her postings instead of biting and taking the bait. It will keep your blood pressure down.

Actually Tinman, I think this is rather entertaining. Everytime I open the message board I get a good laugh. I really doubt that any of this is going to have much influence on the vote, but apparently it makes them feel much better. :D
The National Institutes of Health has just released the results of a $200 million research study completed under a grant to Johns Hopkins.
The new study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

Egads, he's still going at it? I wonder who he's trying to impress ;)

I mean, he's only going to impress those who are already rootin' for Bush. I have a feeling that most Kerry supporters are concrete in their decision at this point, lol.

It was my experience in 4 yrs of military service that it was not uncommon for subordinates to badmouth their officers. Take it with a grain of salt. ;)
