Hey it's 2011 !!!! Talked to a Mayan last night, he said we only have one year to go. Here's to everyone making the best of it. Eat, drink and smoke. Love like there's no tomorrow, dance like nobody's watching, take chances, and drive fast.
Happy New Year!

Right back at you, Catfish!!!
I hope everyone is feeling good, warm, safe and happy today....and for all of 2011 !!!

Feeling cozy and content having rung in the new year while feeding my grandson. It can't get any better than that! Happy 2011!!

At least my 401K status is moot if Catfish is right!
Happy New Year to all of you.

No moot point Jeff! Nourishing a new life (up feeding my grandson, while his twin sister slept peacefully in the next room and the rest of my family sawed logs.) into the new year is evidence enough for me that it's God's plan that life will go on.

Oh boy Catfish. She's gone "Earth Mother" on us. Now we'll NEVER get a rise out of Deb again!
(Congrats Grandma Deb!)

~big satisfied smile~No worries push the right button the hackles will be up!
BTW Jeff did you see that the 49ers have a new GM, actually a product of the Fox Valley, graduate of Laconia High School in Rosendale. Goes to show you don't need to be from the big city to do big city jobs.

I'll pray for him. The 49'ers are a sad team right now! (Just ask that Ken surfer dude.)

Will the Packers win this Sunday? What's the opinion? Need to know!

Catfish...what's your 'need to know'. You betting the ranch on the game
And as bad as the Niners are...and they really do suck...they at least did $omething right today by hiring Harbaugh. I wonder if they have enough money left to get a decent quarterback and assistant coaches.
"surfer dude"? ...water's way to cold, man !!!!!

My prediction is that the Packers are going to the City of "Brotherly love"
and kick some tail feathers !

I'm sorry to say that I'm thinking the Eagles will win. It seems like whenever the "experts" pick the Pack to win, the opposite result takes place. I was there in 2002 when Vick handed the Packers their first playoff loss at Lambeau. I'm thinking he does it again.
(Praying that I'm wrong!)

Aaron Rodgers, who art in Lambeau, Hallowed be thine arm. Thy bowl will come, it will be won, in Philly as it was in Lambeau. Give us this Sunday our weekly win and forgive the less-passers as you will not let them pass against us. Lead us not into frustration, but deliver us from Eagles. For thine is the MVP, the best... of the NFC, and.. the glory of the Cheeseheads, now and forever. Go get'em. Amen

Not bad Catfish. It's relief to be wrong about the game today!
I sure wish James Jones would hold on to the ball more consistantly.

Here's a little something a friend of mine put together. A gentleman from Tomahawk actually. The music isn't his just the video. I thought I'd heard every Cheesehead song but never this one. Enjoy!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IH032-DjZOo

I am so bored, 6 more months before there will be any football to watch.
I think I am going into withdrawal ! ! ! ! ! !

Felt the exact same thing this morning driving home from church. What's to watch today? Basketball anyone?

Lots of good Big Ten on today. Even better WI/Ohio State game yesterday! Woo Hoo Bucky way to take down #1.

Not just Big Ten lots of good college basketball.

Nancy & I intend to enjoy last Sunday for awhile!
March Madness will help. Mock drafts, the Combine, scouting reports will have to do until the Draft 73 days from today. After the draft, there's fishing. Then at long last a new season.
National Football Post has JJ Watt going to the Packers with the 32nd pick of Round One.

Unfortunatly I never got into basketball, don't think I have watched a game since I graduated from High School and would go to school games.
Guess if I really want to watch some football, I can always watch the tape of either Superbowl XXXI or XLV. I recorded them both and keep them for fall back.
