My son asked me a great question this weekend. He asked "does second hand smoke kills?" I answered "yes, altough it is slow to do so." Then he asked "then how come smokers aren't charged with man slaughter?" I did not have an answer.

For the grammer police the last post should have read "does second hand smoke kill?"

Let's add exhaust fumes from vehicals, anything that comes out of the stacks at factories, chemical fumes and all the stuff that comes out of home heating vents. What we need is a big sign in the sky that says,

" Caution living on the planet earth is hazzardous to your health"

Thanks Old Scout! I was actually going to post something to that same effect (or is it affect?)but figured I would wait and see if someone else would first. All vehicle owners in prison for man slaughter along side of all factory owners and those who make thier living working in one!

Second hand smoke is unintentually inhaled by being in public. You know what is a real joke to me is putting a combination of Sudafed, drano, farmer fertilizer and that white powder from old flashlight batteries up your nose. Wow how stupid do you have to be to do such an unnatural thing. It's a lot more worse than the first guy that saw those big pink things on the first cow and saw some white stuff come out and said. "gee whiz, I think I'll drink some of that there white stuff." LOL

Corporations now have the ability to make just about any product addictive be it chocolate, sugar, drinks, etc. Corporations balance what they predict they will have to pay out in lawsuits with how much they can get out of unethical or illegal "product enhancement" or short-changing safty. In the 1960 Ford Pinto case the margin was about $11. In the past the legislators and local government regulated such things. Of course now national and state legislators are owned and operated by the corporations and the local government has been eviscerated by those legislators. Orwell's 1984 has arrived.

Many Individuals clearly lack the sense of responsibility and ethic to regulate their own behavior when it may be harmful to others so laws are needed (when you can get them pass the corporation manipulators).

Even more so than Orwells "1984" it is more reminesant of Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World". The only differance is that test tubes weren't needed for the transition of this sytem. That has been achieved by calculated mass brain washing and propaganda.
