Ripples of Caucus Scandal spread north

Postby mystic » Mon Feb 27, 2006 10:34 pm

"Rep. Don Friske (R-Merrill) said he knew state workers were helping on his first campaign in 2000 but believed they were volunteers off the state payroll. Friske's name was mentioned by Jensen trial witnesses at least three times last week.

Friske was not concerned that the issue would be used against him in the fall campaign, saying court records will show he was not aware of campaign activity.

Other campaigns' records
The campaign finance records of Friske, Rep. Jeff Stone (R-Greendale) and Rep. Jerry Petrowski (R-Marathon) were entered as evidence last week by prosectors."

If all the atheists left the United States it would lose 93% of the National Academy of Sciences but less than 1% of the prison population.
