Aug. 7, 2003 -- "It's got people worried: Glassy-eyed millions are downloading, instant messaging, emailing -- and they're doing it 24/7. Hours and hours after logging on, they can't walk away." Internet Addiction: Ruining Lives?
I used to be really BAD. Back when I got my very first computer and got on the internet for the first time, I got SO addicted!
Thankfully, I'm not like that anymore
Honestly though, I had become a walking zombie, totally sleep deprived. I lost my job, I almost lost my relationship with my sister, and I used to fall asleep in the middle of my childrens' choir concerts and stuff.
I do still enjoy being online, but nowhere near to the extreme I once did. I don't know if I got cured or I just got too old to be able to stay up all night, LOL.
Have any of you had any experience with internet addiction, either yourself or a loved one?
