>>Who cares about their attendance, will he make them better??? <<

The owners.... they care about the money... it's always about the money....

And I don't think having Farve on the team can possiblly hurt them unless they blow it on how to use him....

Let's face it, all the drama considered... he did have one **** of a year last year....

Susan of Sandy Utah,
I'm sorry to see that you bought into that fund-raiser for the Green Bay Packers. You are a ceremonial "owner" of the team. You do not have a voting right in the operations of the Green Bay Packers. All you have a right to is the claim "I paid $$$ for a piece of paper (suitable for framing)". It's like buying a brick at Lambeau field. You pay, they benefit, & you get an acknowledgement of being a "true" Packer supporter.

Those of you who have sworn off the Packers & will now cheer for the Jets & any team that plays against the Packers were never a true fan of the team if you put one individual (Favre) over the whole team. Favre put himself in this position & found out that the team does come first in the eyes of the Packer front office.

Floyd, the whole team had one he-double toothpicks of a year last year.

[quote="Tomahawk Leader"]A letter received by the Tomahawk Leader via email:

"They are talking out of both sides of their mouths. They say Favre can't go to the Vikings cause that will automatically make them the best team in the NFC North. Well, that being said, then won't having Favre play for the Packers make them the best team in the NFC North? They are speaking in circles and will not speak the truth as to why they are doing what they are doing."

Re-read the quotes of the folks you're trashing. What the Packer front office was saying was that Favre was an upgrade over the current QBs on the Viqueen's roster. Their current QBs are not at the same talent level of Favre or Rodgers. They saw no sense in helping a team that they would play twice a year improve their chances by letting them sign Favre. And if you think that Favre should have stayed & Rodgers be released or traded, the Packers would not have allowed them to have access to him either.

Like Logic1 said, "Get over it."
