A Letter to the Editor published in the Aug. 13, 2013, Tomahawk Leader:
St. Mary’s Thrift Cellar wishes to thank all the Tomahawk residents who have donated items to us over the years; without these donations we would not exist.
We are especially grateful for those who drop off their items in the designated time frame (the store must be open) Tuesday 4-8 p.m., Wednesday 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
By doing this you help us provide a safe and clean entrance. Plus your actions show great respect for a house of worship.
Remember the door and hallway that leads to the Thrift Cellar also leads to the church.
Often we are asked what type of donations we take. We always answer:
Think small – and exercise machine is way too large.
Think clean – forget the broken item that needs repair.
Think sellable – we are not permitted to sell children’s car seats, TVs, computers and computer equipment.
If you have questions concerning donations, please call during store hours, 715-453-2878.
