Share immigration stories ...

Postby Tomahawk Leader » Fri Jan 26, 2007 1:44 am

Dear Community Members:

The fourth graders at Tomahawk Elementary have spent the start of their year studying early Wisconsin history. Currently we are focusing our study on immigration to the United States, and to Wisconsin. Our students are seeking community members who would be willing to share an interesting immigration story, or knowledge of a past generation coming to America through Ellis Island. Our students would be excited to hear these stories through an interview with you! If you are willing to share your story with one of our students, please contact the school. Ask for either Mrs. Hansen or Mrs. Norman. We would be excited to match you up with an inquiring fourth grader. Thank you for your interest and help with this project.
Many thanks,

Mrs. Melanie Hansen (ext. 138)
Mrs. Paula Norman (ext. 137)
