Adopt-a-Shelf Program

Postby Tomahawk Leader » Wed Jan 09, 2008 7:44 pm

A Letter in the Jan. 8 Tomahawk Leader:

To the Editor:

Are you one of those people who likes everything in its place? Your canned goods at home look better than those at the grocery store? If this describes you, then we just happen to believe you’re wonderful! Because that’s exactly the way we would like to be.
Tomahawk Public Library is looking for willing people to help the library by adopting a shelf. This program is designed to keep books in correct order and dust free. Are you interested in giving two to four hours per month? We are very flexible; you can come in whenever we’re open. Going on vacation? No problem, just let us know.

Please contact Mary Dunn at 453-2455 or email dunn@wvls.lib.wi.us if interested or with any questions. Training will be provided.

If you have a particular section of interest, we will try to accommodate you.

Please come to the open house on Jan. 15 from noon to 6 p.m. at the library to learn more about the program.

Mary Dunn
Director
Tomahawk Public Library
