I'm sure Fr. John is wonderful, but we've been seeing his face on the front page of the Tomahawk Leader internet edition for what, 2 weeks now? Are we going to get an updated version soon or did the webmaster go AWOL? :D just wondering

The webmaster (and some other staff) have gone AWOL...

I got back from a vacation VERY late Monday night and am still trying to get caught up (and eventually get some sleep too). Others are still currently AWOL (I'll let you know if we ever find them!).

Anyway, look for a planned update sometime tomorrow evening covering a couple of weeks. An update the following week may be complete, basic, delayed or possibly even nonexistent...

I REMEMBER YEARS AGO I HAD AN OUT OF STATE SUBSCRIPTION TO THE LEADER AND IT GOT TO THE POINT THAT MOST WERE GETTING TO ME WEEKS LATE OR NOT AT ALL THAT I HAD TO DROP IT AS IT WAS GETTING RATHER EXPENSIVE. THAN ALONG CAME THE INTERNET VERSION. I HOPE THE SAME DOESN'T HAPPEN TO IT. I'VE BEEN LIVING IN CALIFORNIA FOR OVER THIRTY YEARS AND STILL CONSIDER TOMAHAWK MY HOME AND LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING THE NEWS FROM THERE.
I TRY AND GET BACK THERE EVERY YEAR TO SEE MOM AND TAKE IN HARLEY WEEKEND.
DON'T FORGET US OUT OF STATERS ;) ;) ;)

Don't worry...

The website goes on occasional hiatus a few times a year as the webmaster (me) likes to go on vacation and even occasionally decides to leave the laptop at home.

On another note, the lack of decent delivery would have little to do with the actions at the Leader. All of the papers are delivered to the US Post Office on Monday night. Once it is in their hands there isn't a whole lot we can do...
