They pay in close to 20 Billion in state, federal, sales, income taxes and social Security. True the cost is about 26 Billion or in other words a few Billion more per year. However, that is the cost of one week in the Bush wars. Get your whinings prioritized.

That's our intention. Was just curious about Nokomis since we stayed there at Moonlight Bay Resort for the first 3 or 4 summers we visited the area. Our son caught his first fish there. A smallmouth about 6 " long. Great blackberry picking too.

A School Nurse has written the info below -- good enough to share -- And it really works!

I had a pediatrician tell me what she believes is the best way to remove a tick. This is great, because it works in those places where it's sometimes difficult to get to with tweezers: between toes, in the middle of a head full of dark hair, etc.

Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and swab it for a few seconds (15-20), the tick will come out on its own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. This technique has worked every time I've used it (and that was frequently, and it's much less traumatic for the patient and easier for me.
Unless someone is allergic to soap, I can't see that this would be damaging in any way. I even had my doctor's wife call me for advice because she had one stuck to her back and she couldn't reach it with tweezers. She used this method and immediately called me back to say, "It worked!"

Thanks for asking Jeff. I'm doing pretty well and the liver is hanging in there without indication of rejection. I am so lucky to have received that liver and my second chance. Praise God and I thank Him daily for it. Here is my chance once again to encourage people to be organ donors. Last I read that there is, at any given time, 20,000 people on waiting lists all over the country waiting for a liver. It further reads that there are typically only close to 2,000 livers per year available. That is just wrong. Those stats are only for the liver but an average organ donor donates liver, kidneys, lungs, heart, eyes, skin and a few others. Just think how many people can be helped to live and see their grandchildren grow up with a donors generosity. And once again, the donor's family does not incur any expense for the donation. The recipient's insurance or Medicare/Medicaide shoulders that burden.
So because of my donor's generosity I am able to go out and slay those bluegills and perch-my favorites. Just a minute I think I' getting a bite.
