Here we go again, Harley has been playing the "move the plant" game for the last fourty years. Everytime the contract is due in a few months or in this case this winter they start pushing the concept that if the union doesn't sign the contract that is offered or accept the cuts that the company wants the plant could be moved. First it was to Milwaukee, and then when the York PA plant opened they would threaten to move it there. They might have a good reputation, but they will look for every chance to stab their employee's in the back when they are dealing with them. For years they always said that Tomahawk was one of the most profitable plants but now that they got their way with the union at York they have this plant in their sights to force the unions to make concessions and take away insurance benefits. Just watch, if they get what they want the plan to move will disappear and not be heard of until the next contract. The Contract isn't up until March but now they want to open it in June so they can make the union nervous and push the move the plant threat. Maybe they see the economy improving and want to screw the employee's before there is no reason to go ahead with the plan.
The National Institutes of Health has just released the results of a $200 million research study completed under a grant to Johns Hopkins.
The new study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.
