125th anniversary

Congratulations to the Tomahawk Leader on the wonderful 125th anniversary special supplements to the Leader. They are really interesting reading and definitely something I will save. You did a great job on putting this together and it is something to be proud of ! :D
The National Institutes of Health has just released the results of a $200 million research study completed under a grant to Johns Hopkins.
The new study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

Wanted to thank you for the kind words. We've heard many, many wonderful comments. There are some copies of the supplement at our office for those who are interested. I also hope to post it to our web page soon at www.tomahawkleader.com. Three cheers for our staff (because at a newspaper our size, it takes everyone to put something like that together) and for all the help we received from Dixie and Andy Zastrow and Darlene Wurl, representing the Tomahawk Area Historical Society. -Kathy Tobin, Editor
