The Fall Ride used to generate a lot of discussion on the board. The past couple years it seems to just come and go without much chatter. Maybe that`s a good sign.
No news is good news?
The weather looked good.
How was the crowd?
Any problems?

Re: FALL RIDE
Might be that the City has done it's very best to move it up to Nokomis Township.

Re: FALL RIDE
Hmm, record crowds at SARA Park seem to indicate otherwise...
Re: FALL RIDE
Kerry, They say record crowds every year. I disagree. After discussing with numorous business owners, and being a small business owner myself, most have said the numbers were down. I believe the reason that the numbers were down is because Minocqua just hosted the annual state H.O.G rally, in mid August, then the Harley Davidson did the 110th celebration, plus, throw in Sturgis in the mix, and now Tomahawk. Too many rides, and not enough people or funds. I'm with Tooten on this one.

Re: FALL RIDE
Yes, they can. However, that isn't what the reports were. Record (large) crowds at SARA Park, record money made for MDA.
Perhaps if business is down then the businesses need to think of additional ways to draw the bikers to them. I'm guessing Bubba is putting a lot of time and money into getting people to his events, there's nothing that prevents the businesses from doing more to promote as well...

Sure they can. Step one would probably getting the tents and vendors off of their front door.
