The article states: Ownership boom prompts needs for new rules~
The explosion of non-highway motorized vehicles will force the forest service to develop more
coherent plans to regulate machines on millions of acres of forests and grasslands. There are many
differences in the forests so to speak, so no single restriction can work. A new management plan for the Nicolet-Chequamegon would increase the number of trails in forests, but ATV enthusiasts are concerned that the plan would bar
the use of their vehicles on thousands of miles or forest roads and and logging trails.A few more winters of no snow might make the ATV riders the most popular in Wisconsin. We don't travel the ATV trails, but we do own one. How many ride the trails and what do you think about new rules etc?
