Mr. Freude was my teacher for an Accounting/Financial Math type class....or was it something to do with Careers? Sorry, it's been a few years...I think it was my Freshman Year of HS, so that makes it...carry the years ago? !

To quote a phrase, Odds :D

I recall Mr. F as being very approachable. He was always friendly and helpful. He commanded respect, but didn't have that "Sarge"ness about him, where he was also feared. Mr. F treated us as equals.

The first thing I'll always remember about him is this: He taught me a really neat trick to get rid of hiccups!! :p

Anyone else know what it is?! It works, and I still use it today.

Best Wishes to You in Your New Chapter, Mr. Freude! Thanks for everything.

While I was long gone from school before Tom Freude arrived, I did have the pleasure of meeting and working with him in the mid-90's when I would do presentations at the middle school during Fire Prevention Week. Tom always impressed me as a caring and very capable individual who was a tremendous asset to our school, faculty and students. He set high standards and worked diligently to help those under his care achieve them AND did it consistently for all those years. I wish both Tom and his wife, Ann, all the best in the future!
