Call the cops, oh my gosh!!

Postby Deb Richardson » Tue Jul 29, 2003 6:23 pm

As reported earlier this week on the "Q", a local citizen called police to report that a young neighbor's basketball had rolled into her lawn. From news reports this apparently is the result of an on going neighborhood fued. I hope I'm not the crazy one by thinking this is a frivolous use of police time and a waste of the taxpayers money. What happened to loving thy neighbor and communicating with each other to get along? We've had threats in our neighborhood to call the police when a motion light malfunctioned and happened to stay on all night, on a single occasion. Get real people and get a life!

Deb, perhaps they were afraid it was Kobe Bryant’s ball and he was right behind it. :D :D

Reminds me of the saying that good fences make for good neighbors... or somehting like that...

LOL JFlosum! I know the saying inwhcih you are referring, however there seem to be so many fences in this world. Terrists attacking because of religious fences. Lynchings in the south due to fences of different skin color. We just all need to be more neighborly and forget about these fences. Maybe anger management classes need to become a required class for living.
