10 Year Old Father?

Postby NurseNell » Tue Feb 26, 2008 4:46 pm

This surely has to be a mistake: "Tomahawk's Sidney Peterson, 18, joined the Army National Guard after graduating from Tomahawk School. Her father, Rick, 28, soon followed in her footsteps."

When I was in the Navy I had a recruit whose mother had him at age 11. But a father at age 10?

Ooops. I thought he sounded like a very young dad at the correct age of 38, but obviously 28 is incredible. I've fixed it... It's a wonderful story. Hope many of you enjoyed reading the entire version in the newspaper. Thanks Nurse Nell, and hoping all is well with you.

Welcome back Nurse Nell! I've missed your insights to the message board.
What if there were no hypothetical questions?
