Severe weather in Midwest and Wisconsin - concerned

I've been watching the news these past couple of days concerning the terrible weather hitting the Midwest, including Wisconsin. It seems that much of the really bad stuff is happening just south of Tomahawk.

But I was wondering how everybody is doing. I'm sure you're getting lots of rain and wind.

Have there been any injuries or damage in the area? Are the water levels rising to any dangerous level?

I have a friend who lives just north of town on Lake Alice but haven't been able to reach him to get any of the local weather news...he may just be out of town and out of reach.

But I was just concerned how everyone is holding out...and hoping that you're all ok.

I haven't seen any mention of the weather on the Message Board so thought I would add this post.

Keep low, dry and safe !!!

We are riding high and dry at the moment. Tomahawk and environs have suffered through lots of rain, wind, and even some record hail storms, but (Knock wood) nothing more severe then that. No flooding, but river levels and lakes are raised slightly.

So far so good.. Once nice thing is that the spring fire season went by without hardly an alarm. Everything is green and leafy... on the other hand, the mosquitoes are horrible this year.

Most of the damage areas are in the Dells and south from what I've seen. The Dells in particular are in pretty bad shape and I've heard there were more tornado's north of Madison today (as I check out my window again).

We're supposed to get up to 2 more inches of rain in Madison...
