Hi, all--Just a note to let you know about my new book, which includes 27 stories in a major chapter and elsewhere describing life in Tomahawk in the late 1940s and early 1950s. "Days with the Dads: Recollections of a Small-Time Journalist" is available from the printer at http://www.lulu.com Just type in the title or my last name and search.

What's a major champter???

Sorry folks, but the grammar nazi came out again. Wouldn't it make sense that if you want to generate some public interest, you'd try to make a logical & accurate post??

Nazi, I think what you are dealing with here is a typo! I even figured out that should be "chapter". Those quick typing journalist don't remember to proof, they depend on proof readers and editors.

I don't plan to initiate sales there. The book store owner could deal directly with the printer (lulu), however, and get a quantity discount and then sell copies. I'm not pushing sales very hard, just trying to make those who may be interested aware of the book. I did send a notice to Dixie Zastrow of the Tomahawk Historical Society and also e-mailed a news release to the Leader. I've also e-mailed my list of Hatchet friends, and several have bought copies. Unfortunately, my list of old Tomahawk friends is shrinking rapidly!
