Tomahawk resident Dean Goulet, a Paramedic serving as a civilian contractor in Iraq, was recently the recipient of an award for "Exemplary Service to the Mission of the 382nd MP Battalion". Goulet serves as a Medic, caring for the civilian population at FOB Grizzly in Iraq and was recently recognized by LTC Jennifer Curry, commanding officer for his work.

Goulet has been working as an Army Civilian Contractor since December of 2006 and was formerly employed with Lincoln County EMS - Tomahawk Division at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Dean,
I had the honor of meeting up with Gordy (Old Scout) and Brian Morren at the Pine Tree Restaurant last Tuesday. My son C.J. joined us to be my designated driver. A toast was raised in your honor to the picture you posted on the Message Board.

A little later Kathy & Kerry Tobin joined us. Kathy included your picture in the paper version of the Tomahawk Leader. Of course this all leads to the question... "Now that you're a celebrity, when can we get autographed 8X10 glossies???"

hahahaha...

I will have my people call your people and they do lunch sometime and hash that all out...

Glad I could be there in spirit if not in person...

Dean,
We raised a toast to the picture you posted on this thread when I met Brian to pay off my Super Bowl bet this past August. Old Scout, Kerry & Kathy Tobin joined us to "Raise the status/standard" of this motley assembly.

We plan to do this again next summer, possibly as a TL Message Board get together so that we can all finally meet the folks we've been e-mailin' & at times trash talking. It will be great to be able to buy you a beer. (I'm assuming that you'll be interested in joining us.)

I will be there... Baring any acts of Congress or insurgency of course.. but otherwise I wouldn't miss it.

And I will bring a pen so I can autograph your cocktail napkin.. lol

Better than a napkin, I'll try to remember to bring the darn picture!

God bless you.
