Gov. Scott Walker reported Thursday raising $5.1 million since July, just as the group trying to recall the governor announced it had reached the half-million signature mark, putting it within striking distance of forcing a recall election.

Walker is taking advantage of the unlimited campaign contributions allowed to politicians facing recall!

OVER $5,000,000 MILLION dollars in just a few months! Most of it coming in from out of the State of Wisconsin!

Why are MILLIONAIRES from other states so anxious to give walker MILLIONS?!

Pretty good article on what Walker could have done to do the job without creating all the chaos.

Tommy Thompson's Secret Talks with Walker

As the political crisis was brewing in Wisconsin last winter, Governor Scott Walker rebuffed former governor Tommy Thompson's advice to reach a compromise with public employee unions, according to a state senator as well as a friend of Thompson's who was involved in the political drama at the time.

"Tommy was beside himself that Walker was so dogmatic," says the friend. "We had lots of conversations about this--about how it was going to do nothing but cause chaos, and it was bad for the state. Businesses aren't going to move here in the middle of all this conflict."

Thompson, along with other moderate Republicans, reached out to Walker, the friend says, and urged him to sit down with union leaders and seek a compromise before Walker pushed through a law curtailing public employees' collective bargaining rights--the issue that sparked mass protests and a the state's first ever recall campaign against a governor.

Not surprising at all. Many die-hard Republicans I have talked to said they wished they never voted for walker, and have signed a recall petition.

We`re losing more jobs every month. In fact we lead the nation in job losses.

When they interviewed new college graduates, many stated they are looking for jobs in other states, because Wisconsin is no longer a state they want to work in, and settle down and raise a family.

walker will be recalled, the sad part is nobody has the millions he has to run against him and his corporate buddies.

It looks like Walker is wide open to letting out of state interests run the state. It is not a defense of him but with the citizens united decision and other allowance of legalized bribery, if not Walker being the prostitute it would be another. He may not lose the Recall election but hopefully the Democrats pick up one more Senator so we have some balance of power instead of all three branches being run by extremists from the right.
