Can anyone tell me which Zoo is better between the "Milwaukee Zoo" or the "Minnesota Zoo" ?

Tie to Tomahawk: Grew up in Tomahawk in the 50s and early 60s, left after High School in '64

Sorry I can't compare the two, I haven't been to the Milwaukee Zoo since Sampson was alive! I have been to the Minnesota Zoo though. That is very nice. They have done some recent remodeling and it's really a good time, my kids love it. There is another zoo in Mpls., The Como Zoo, that is a smaller zoo and is really nice too. The Como Zoo is about the size of the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, maybe a little bigger but comparible in size.

I actually prefer the Como Zoo in Saint Paul, MN. It's free :D The MN Zoo is nice but expensive. It has a different concept than most zoos. You ride an elevated train to see most of the animals. The Como Zoo is just your old fashioned zoo that you remember from childhood. I've been to the Milwaukee Zoo but it was 40 years ago, no idea what it's like now.
