Author, speaker has been featured on Discovery, History channels

TOMAHAWK – Author, speaker and founder of Sweet Bread Ministries Bruce Van Natta will be sharing personal stories, along with many other stories of miracles and healings, at 7 p.m. at Prince of Peace Church, 1328 County Road A, Tomahawk, Monday, July 22. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free. Van Natta travels all around the world, bringing his inspirational message to all who long to hear.
In 2006, Van Natta was working on a logging truck when it fell off the jack it was resting on and onto his midsection. The 10,000-pound axle severed main arteries in five places, nearly cutting his body in two.
Van Natta says he had “an out of body experience,” and that God sent two angels to keep him alive. Although doctors later said Van Natta should’ve died before the ambulance arrived, he lived for 2 ½ hours, until doctors could operate.
Van Natta’s internal organs suffered serious damage, including his intestines, which were so badly injured that doctors couldn’t save enough of them to sustain his life. Slowly, Van Natta, a father of four, was starving to death.
That’s when Bruce Carlson, a man who lived on the other side of the country, says God told him to buy a plane ticket, fly to Van Natta, and pray for a creative miracle in his intestines.
“His true life story stirs the faith of any believer and brings unbelievers to a place where they can accept Christ. Many people report being healed of sicknesses, diseases, addictions, as well as emotional problems like fear and depression after getting prayer at one of Bruce’s meetings, and these testimonies are just as exciting and meaningful as what happened to Bruce,” states a release provided by Prince of Peace.
Van Natta and his inspirational story have been featured on over 100 talk radio shows and over 30 television shows, including on programs on the Discovery Channel, History Channel and CMT.
