Fall Elections

Postby Tripod » Fri Jul 14, 2006 2:55 pm

Now that all nomination papers are in, I am glad to see uncontested races for the Sheriff, District Attorney, and 35th Assembly. Over the past several years there has been more time and money wasted on negative campaigns that we will not have to put up with this year here in Lincoln County. Congrats to all persons running in these postions on your uncontested races this fall.

Most people probably don't figure it is worth the headaches and BS that go with the job.

I sure wouldn't want to try to represent a lot of the people that I know. Half of them have no idea what they want and the other half want things that would be considered totaly rediculous.

Besides, I don't want to be a politition, so I don't have to worry about being politicly correct, I like telling it the way it is. :D
The National Institutes of Health has just released the results of a $200 million research study completed under a grant to Johns Hopkins.
The new study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.
