Yes, I followed it and read it. I actually had some thoughts to share and could not so I asked why. I also find it inteeresting that you would first assume that I did not. C J, I have had wolves in my area for over 15 years. I have lots of wildlife. Wolves do have fear, if it was non-exsistant then why do they flee when they hear me coming thru the woods? People fear them. Unless of course they have a gun and are safe in a tree stand. Becoming a link in the food chain is very frightening for humans. As we are supposedly top on the food chain. Wolves think, feel, fear, love, morn, hunger, have all the feelings others have. I do not fear them or hate them, I respect them and their place in this world. They are welcome to my land and the help in cleaning up the dear that are hurt and slowly dieing or dead after the hunt is apperciated.I find at least 10 or more deer that have been hurt, shot, and are slowly dieing after the hunt each year. Mostly young small ones. They also help clean up all the carcuses that the hunters throw along the back trail after they clean the ones they keep. It would be nice if they did not throw the plastic bag on my land also. I just end up having to pick up all that plastic. Yep those people respect the land and what it has to offer  Maybe we should think about controlling the human population. Humans as a species for the most part destroy, contaminate, desimate, and waste. Some do not but most do. "Money changes everything"

This still is not the topic to discuss wolves...

Please move the discussion back to the topics about wolves...

Can you tell me which other posts have been locked out. I went back a year and see no other locks on the threads. I am more then likely just missing them, as you all are so much more informed then I.

I've been gone for awhile. So where is that wolf strand that Nugget is talking about??

The only "lock Out" I've heard of was Kottah after he executed some on-line gymnastics that offended.

As far as other closed threads there haven't been too many (a sign that we really don't close many from my perspective). We also haven't had that many times where we have had multiple discussions occurring at the same time on the same topic.

In addition, the In Our Opinion and Letters to the Editor postings are something new. This is the first time since we started posting those that we have had a column (which belongs in the In Our Opinion area) respond to a Letter to the Editor (which belongs in the Letters to the Editor area). It could have been even more confusing to follow if the original column that lead to the letter had been posted. That column would also be closed now because the Letter to the Editor would have been important to the discussion and would be where all new posts on the topic should have been.

Jeff, there has only been one person who has been permanently banned. We have closed topics before. We also have edited a few posts (language, attacks, etc.). We haven't closed topics just because we don't like them (even ones directly attacking our products).

The closed thread can be found at: 1st Thread

The followup can be found at: 2nd Thread

We are just trying to keep the discussions organized and make sure everyone has seen all of the discussion on the topic before they reply.

It seems that Gov. Arnold of California has put on quite the Hollywood extravaganza for his second inaugruation. Which some may look at as living the American dream, considering his imigrant status. At the time of his re-election a CNN piece touched on changing the Constitution to allow someone that is not a natural born citizen to run for president. Is this country ready to move in that direction, after all American is considered a melting pot of nationalities. Any thoughts?

Short and sweet - leave the Constitution alone. We've got enough natural-born American nitwits who have held/are holding/wish to hold that office without opening it up to foreigners.

I`ll put it this way ,
If we were to change the Constitution to allow a foreign born to become President...........Arnold is not the guy to do it for. ;)

There's a big difference between legal, naturalized Americans and "illegals".
