It is suppose to be the security that keeps our homeland safe. Does it really exist? I think our polititions are spending much of our tax dollars to make us think that it does exist.
Personally, I think we are pretty wide open to further acts of terrorism.

Could it be Marty that you are nervous because it feels as if "Big Brother" is looking over our shoulders? I think this whole thing is making the USA the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Tell me how lush expensive office buildings make our country safer.

This is out of the latest Outdoor Life Magazine.

G.I. Joe Under arrest

Those wily airport security screeners saved us again. Ryan Scott, nine years old, attempted to carry a rifle and several pistols onboard a flight at the Central Wisconsin Airport, but security grabbed the weapons before they could be used by, uh, G.I. Joe. Thats right. They took Joe's four inch long rubber rifle and his miniature plastic pistols. The Transportation Security Administration lists "toy weapons" among its "items prohibited in aircraft cabins."

Despite vigorous questioning, Joe wasn't offering anything beyond his name, rank an serial number.

Now doesn't that make you feel a whole lot safer ?

The National Institutes of Health has just released the results of a $200 million research study completed under a grant to Johns Hopkins.
The new study has found that women who carry a little extra weight live longer than the men who mention it.

Homeland security is a joke. All that the government wants to do is keep track of everything we do. Telephone a friend, they will know who you called and how long you talked. Get money from a ATM machine, they can tell you how much you took out and how you were able to deposit it in there in the first place. I thought that I and many of my fellow ex military friends fought and served to protect the freedoms we have. How can we allow them to be stripped away?

They want homeland security? Let's start by being more selective on who we allow in our country. Lock down the borders and get rid of all the people in the country illegally. Would that help secure our country? I think so, at least you wouldn't have some towel heads learning how to fly jets into our buildings. Don't get me wrong, I do feel that we are the worlds melting pot but are we expected to give up our earned freedoms to allow others, by their actions, to take away what we have? I hope soon we grab our ears and pull our heads out of our butts, before we become a country we are afraid to live in.

Too late now. Someone appointed G.W.Bush president (contrary to the popular vote).
If all the atheists left the United States it would lose 93% of the National Academy of Sciences but less than 1% of the prison population.
