Rock star dreams

Postby redo2006 » Sun Aug 20, 2006 4:36 pm

Anyone see the article in the Sun. Wausau Herald Life section about the "Rock star dreams?"
Pat Martens the son of former Tomahawk residents
Joe and Jean (Schoone) Martens is the drummer for that band..He is the one in the brown shirt.
I think it is awesome.

Another son another band.
Pats younger bro. Craig Martens tried out for and made the UW Madison marching band. He is a freshman at UW Madison..mom and dad Joe and Jean(Schoone) Martens.

To throw some support out to more local bands, check out Tomahawk's own Rojo Diablo , Tomahawk native Marcus Ridley's Last Night's Hero , and Tomahawk native Kirk Hrabik's Niobium .

I'm sure there are more local acts than that, but ive been out of the area for too long to keep track. If anyone has more links/info, itd be cool to see it posted up here. There is definately alot of talent of all ages coming out of this area, no doubt about it.
