I heard that the Dam feeding Lake Nokomis might
have to be rebuilt this year. Is this true?
How will that affect the water levels this summer?
Dam Rebuilding
Re: Dam Rebuilding
The dam feeding Lake Nokomis (Rice Reservoir) is the Willow Reservoir Dam, which is upstream from Nokomis. The dam that creates the Rice Rersvoir is the Bradley Dam. Which are you referring to?
If it is the Willow Dam, it would most likely have negligible impact on Lake Nokomis. However, if it is the Bradley Dam, I would guess that lake levels could potentially be lowered dramatically to work on the dam. I guess it depends how extensive the "rebuilding" is.

Re: Dam Rebuilding
You may be confused with the recent Leader article on KINGS dam. If the DNR had it's way, they would tear out just about every **** dam in the State!
Re: Dam Rebuilding
As would the Trout fishing crowd. Of course if you are panfish person, then the warm water impoundment is more conducive.
If all the atheists left the United States it would lose 93% of the National Academy of Sciences but less than 1% of the prison population.
