Surf's up?

Postby Jeff Boettcher » Mon Mar 31, 2008 11:31 pm

I'm sitting here listening to my sump pump going off every three minutes & thanking the Good Lord that I replaced the old one last year. And I'm no where near a flood plain (Just bad lot planning in the neighborhood about 45 years ago.)

How's Tomahawk dealing with this latest storm?
What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Jeff, are you sure that's a sump pump you're hearing and not a BEAR!

I'm not in Tomahawk but a call home last night interrupted shoveling snow. I think they said up to 7 inches and it's only 29 degrees right now. Flooding may not be a problem quite yet!

Deb,
My new pump is a submersible. So the sound was more like a swarm of angry bees. With the frequency it was sounding off, I was definitely almost as nervous as I'd be with the swarm.

Deja vu. They're talking 2 inches of rain around here. I may go fishing in my backyard!
