History of Lake Alice

I am looking for old photos and stories about your family's history on the lake. How did it get the name of Alice? What resorts used to be here? Any photos of them available? The lake's 100th year is in 2010. Can you help? Post them here and email me at gbfdcapt4b@yahoo.com. Thank You!

Two of our Lake Association Board members found this article in the newspaper dated August 12, 1911. Now we know Lake Alice got it's name. We're still looking for any old photos or historical information.
