Deb & Asterix,
Whatever. Burger king, McDonalds. Packers, Viqueens. The soap opera was a pain in the butt to me.
The ZZZZZZZZZ's still are relevant to my point of view.

Deb, Just admit it. You're a Favre fan, not a Packer fan.

Jeff, I really am sick of people telling me I'm a Favre fan and not a Packer fan. Nothing could be further from the truth. Love the Pack, love Favre, hate what management did to him.

Sorry Deb,

I don't put it on management at all. Look at it from a manager's side, you've got a player who retired. Then said he wanted to come back so you charter a plane to go down and work out the details. Then, said player calls and says they changed their mind again and are no longer coming back. Based on this information, you now proceed with the new guy, who's been working hard to earn his spot. Then, retired player publicly announces he wants to come back, what do you do?

I'm done with the wishy-washy player at that point. Even more so when he isn't willing to come compete against the new guy for the spot. If you're that good why not take the challenge? Oh, because that means you'd have to work out for training camp...

Even with his current team I fully believe he had every intention of joining them the whole time. He just doesn't like training camp and didn't want to go. That does nothing but hurt the entire offense who now missed the opportunity to get in sync with their new starting QB. The guy is out for himself and doesn't care about anyone else on any team he plays on.

I hate soap operas, thats why I don't watch them. As a matter of fact, I got rid of my cable. I can't even recieve any channels with a converter box and digital antenna.

exactly Kerry - awesome post - agree with that 100%
Brett Favre is only concerned with Brett Favre - he just wants to be in the spot light. He isn't happy unless he is. He left a bad taste in many peoples mouthes after his fiasco (twice) & made a joke out of football. shame on him. Glad he is not our drama anymore - good luck Vikings

I guess none of us are really in Brett's head, so it's really not fair to say he's all about himself. What I do know, from people that have connections with the NFL is, management within the Pack are about themselves. Doing whatever it takes for them to look good. There seems to be a fair amount of devious, cunning behavior within management. Praying of Favre's vulnerable state of mind at the end of the his time with the Pack.

Should Brett have gone to training camp, probably, however if you listen to Mike and Mike on ESPN they feel that he's Brett Favre he doesn't need to be at training camp. Why run the risk of an over zealous rookie defensive lineman causing him injury.

I certainly hope that Favre does well, but at the same time I hope the Vikings defense blows it for them.

Training camp is important if you're Brett Favre or a rookie QB. It's not just for Brett (who will still learn a thing or two occasionally). It's an opportunity for all of the other players to learn from him, run through plays with him to get everything synced up, timing and kinks worked out, etc. If training camp wasn't important for the whole team they'd do it individually.

His family made hotel reservations in Green Bay months ago for the Packers/Queens game. He's known he was coming back for a good long time.

Kerry, the whole hotel thing may have been a fabrication. Let's sell papers!

Everytime I see Brett Farve on the news or one of his news conferences I am so tired of his endless saga. In my opinion we've heard just about enough from him. If he wants to play for the Vikings, so what. I think his name should be ignored because it is the same old past reverance he once was worthy of. It is now, to me, a very tired name and story. Enough of him already. Good bye Brett, it was good knowing you.

Looks like missing training camp really hurt Favre and the Vikes...Oh wait, they got a first round bye and are still in the playoffs. My mistake....Funny how no one is ripping Rodgers for two costly turnovers. If that was Favre everyone would be killing him for it.

Hmmm, 'philatio', interesting choice for a user name. Some may consider it mmmmmm tacky.

So true, Favre would have been nailed to the cross and crucified. Not much said about Mr. Rodgers' blunder.

Yah Deb, that's why I asked him if he was a male or female. Just wanted to find out what "type" of perv we've got here. I guess the same, whether male or female. Must be a handle from another type of forumn if you know what I mean. Some fantasies are better off kept to yourself.

9-7 with the Jets, Packers 6-10.......13-3 with the Vikes, 2-0 vs. Packers, NFC Championship game. #4 is alowed to stay in GB Packers go at least 13-3 this year with a frist round bye because they would have not lost to the Vikings twice. Get some perspective homers!!
