New Marathon County Surveyor

Postby NurseNell » Mon Nov 02, 2009 3:09 pm

Congratulations to my daughter, Emily Pierce, named today as the new County Surveyor for Marathon County. She will be sworn in on November 16th. On that day, she will be taking an official oath at the County Clerk's office to support and uphold the US and State constitutions and the duties as prescribed to her in the state statutes because she will become a constitutional officer. She will officially be the first woman to ever be Co. Surveyor in Marathon County, and the third woman in the state.

If you see Emily congratulate her.

NurseNell, congratulations to your daughter. You sound very proud of her...and well you should.

Much credit and a pat on the back goes to the mom who raised her too !!! :D

I'll second that!

Emily is truly a credit to the profession.
