Fiengold was here in Tomahawk supposedly listening to what his constituents have to say. He does have ears, so perhaps he listened, but because he knows what's best for the country he'll do it his way and the taxpayers of Wisconsin be ****. Fiengold's "listening sessions" are just another political hoax for the positive news media coverage that they receive. Like so many of these politicians, this guy needs to be fired in November.

As you know U.S. Senators are elected by Statewide elections and need a majority to win. Feingold has twice been reelected and will likely be reelected again. The fact of the matter is that he supports many of the things his supporters do. For example, in Wisconsin the majority of people support minimally a Public Choice if not the more efficient plan of a national single payer system on the Health Care issue. Just what is it you feel he is not listening about? A small noisy group in a room seldom reflects the will of the people. If you pick a 1000 people and 50 disagree with something, the 50 will make more noise than the other 950. Sadly, the 50 will also mistake themselves for the majority of people.

The funny thing is Fiengold is often part of the small noisy group (or lone quack even) in the room...

So Catfish is a punster.

Feingold find gold? He hit the Motherlode by getting elected to the Senate. (Ask him about his retirement benefits including health care.)

What the heck does a small group of people holding secret meetings and making backroom deals in Washington D.C. have to do with the "will of the people"? Is it the "will of the people" to tax hard earned union contracted health care benefits of the middle class or to strip retired people of Medicare benefits to pay for another boondoggle. If Fiengold was worth a hoot he'd be raising **** about backroom deals or at least jump into the that mess and grab some of the payoff money that are going to the residents Nebraska and Florida.

I attended his listening session in Tomahawk. The majority were against the Healthcare bill/reform. As they are ALL OVER THE U.S. The media has done a good job of NOT reporting the REAL news. This was another session.
This is the real people trying to tell a Senator who's not really listening.

I agree Feingold has done some good things but he changed that by wanting TOTAL government control over every American, which is Unconstitutional. His next strike is sponsoring a bill for the Federal gov. to take control of all the waters of the U.S.(S-787) Which go's with the big land grab across America.

http://www.landrights.org/

The public option is for the Union members because the Federal gov. spent there money. To save face they are going this route. He is sponsored greatly by Unions. The rest of us are to go along for the ride quietly. I'm not going down the road to socialism-communism. If you took your blinders off, you would see what is happening to our Country. They want our Country to be just like the Europeon Union. Read up on that to see what the future holds. No Thank-you!!

He is following a government that is systematically shutting us down and trying to gain as much control over us as they can. We need to remember our Founding Fathers fought to stop this very thing. This is why we have enjoyed life as we have.

Why do you think so many States are filing the 10th Amendment?(Wi. included) Because the Federal gov. is totally out of control and WE THE PEOPLE need to rein them back in.

Read about all the other things the States are fighting to keep the Federal gov. out of.

http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/

Feingold and Kohl have sold us out for there parties want for power and control.
It's time to look at the whole picture, not your faith in your party.

The United States of America is in SERIOUS TROUBLE and we need to protect it.

If you want real efficiency in health care you need a single payer national system. Even the public choice for those with no other recourse only nibbled at the edges. Of course the Tea Party crowd love the ten percent increases every year with the current system so that is what they have been ranting for. The people that make the most noise should not be mistaken for the majority. Most people that agree with something do not go out of their way to make a point of their agreement, however, malcontents will.

The republicans solidly controlled all three branchs of government for 6 years under Bush but did not even try to address health care (or anything else).

You must be a die hard Democrat with your insults to teaparty and Republicans. That's how this administration has been handling the people who oppose the policies that are being put in. With your comment on single payer NATIONAL system--you must be a progressive Democrat--believes the Federal gov. should be in charge of every aspect of our lives.

The people are fed up with the taxes and shoving gov. down our throats. The policies are more communist and that is not what this Country was founded on and WE THE PEOPLE will not stand for it. In reality they are fighting for you too, like it or not.

Rush Limbaugh compares Fiengold to Bin Laden!
'
Limbaugh said the al Qaeda leader's most recent audio tape, "sounds like this could easily be [said by] Russ Feingold, the Senator from Wisconsin."
'
If Rush represents the tribe that`s against Fiengold........
'
I think I`ll vote For him.

I came across this article and didn't realize how deep Feingold was in with the crooked cronies. Anyone who takes our rights away for personal gain--should be voted out!! Since McCain was also involved--party doesn't matter--it's who can get the nasty deeds done for the elite.

Feingold has been one of the lone sane voices out there. He voted against the stimulus package, tried to get the big money influences out of politics, and has been a staunch supporter of the Constitution.

As to some of the myths I have been hearing from the tea partiers, senators and congressmen do pay into social security and they do pay for their health care benefits. I never heard so much false propaganda as that regurgitated by the tea party crowd at these listening sessions.

And more as to why one should challenge everything that comes out of the TP crowd:

"Tea Partiers also say taxes are too high, but here, too, perception differs from reality, at least by history's measure. In 2009 and 2010, tax receipts collected by Washington will total 14.8% of the economy. That is the lowest since 1950."
http://blogs.usatoday.com/oped/

Difficult to find any truth coming out of the TPers.

You just have to remember that 80 percent of statistics are made up on the spot.

When dealing with any one in politics, that needs to be kept in mind as very likely

Feingold has among the best ideas for addressing national debt:
http://www.wisconsinagconnection.com/st ... 60&yr=2010

Feingold's main opponent thus far complains alot about the national debt but looks like he if part of the problem rather than the solution:

Do we all remember McCain- Fiengold political contribution fiasco??? The Courts threw out a major part of it. Most everyone knew, even Fiengold ,that the court would call it unconstitutional sooner or later. Wake up Wisconsin, get rid of the man before he does more damage!

Where do you see the "damage" in trying to keep graft and money-for-favors out of politics? Yes the current supreme court thinks money is free speech. So if you are wealthy you get more say and get to make the rules while the man on the street is disenfranchised. Boy, that sounds like democracy!!!
