Now that the game is over I wonder how many big screen TVs will be returned to Best Buy today?

Probably 50%. The Steelers fans can't do so after tossing the chips & dip lazy susan through the video screen. (Picture tube?)
What if there were no hypothetical questions?

Open the door.... Catfish pounces. I am in awe of his awesomeness. He's no Fushcia!
Pray for my sanity! My family bought me a cell phone.

NEVER! I valued my peace & quiet.
I hope keep a remnant of that P & Q by only sharing my phone number with the co-conspirators, my wife & kids.

Re: Northwoods Miscellanea
Good idea Jeff. We've had a cell phone since 1988 or rather my husband has. Original phone was over $600, now free. It's crazy how I've become dependent on mine. My husband refuses to text or even learn. For me it's a quick easy way communicate without long dragged out pointless conversations.

Re: Northwoods Miscellanea
I have one I keep in my car, turned off, in case I really need it on the road. Use it maybe once ever couple of months... I'm never that far from the people who need to reach me.
My wife and step daughter CAN'T live without them...talking and texting and sending email and pictures and who knows what else, etc.
Fight the urge to become ONE OF THEM, Jeff !!! Once you get sucked into that world you can never leave...kind of like Hotel California...

Back in 2000 they were saying, you know it's 2000 when for the past 10 years you didn't even have a cell phone and now when you leave your driveway and realize that you forgot it you turn around to get it even tho you're a mile away from home.
You also knew in was 2000 when you had five friends you called regularly and you had 15 numbers to memorize.

Ken,
If you are afraid of me becoming one of "them", you don't know me very well.
I'm aspiring to achieve curmudgeon status. (Old Scout & Catfish are my mentors.)

Jeff, you are learning from the masters. "curmudgeon status"...is that like rank Tenderfoot? I am just a humble student butterfly myself ...simply happy to carry the water and put wood on the fire all the while observing and always awestruck

Ken,
We're in the presence of humble Masters of the art. Perhaps you & I can bask in the glow radiating from their "awesomeness". (Why is this sounding like something out of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Universe or Bob & Ted's Excellent Adventure?)

Re: Northwoods Miscellanea
I was just "watching" letterman (Backround noise) as I was on the computer. He mentioned an ad from the Tomahawk Leader stating that folks were invited to watch a 20 foot python eat a 35# pig. Is this for real??

Jeff,
Kerry will probably tell you that if you put up a little $ and subscribed to the Online edition of the Tommy Leader you would instantly know the answer.
