Tomahawk Leader - Photo Album

Photo 10394

WILL ERICKSON, right, with the Plum Creek Foundation, awards a grant for $5,100 to members of the Harrison Ball Park Restoration Committee to fence the perimeter of the ball parks outfield and foul lines and to serve as a backstop for games. According to Kathy Voermans, committee secretary and treasurer, the fencing encloses the field and protects youth from highway traffic. This fencing was a part of a multi-faceted project to restore the ball park, which was completed this past summer. The Plum Creek Foundation has helped transform the Harrison Ball Park into a fun place to bring our community together, said Voermans.
