LEGION FLAG DROP BOX: Ernie Winker, left, and Tomahawk American Legion Post 93 Commander Joel W. Kuhner stand aside the newly-painted flag drop-box located outside Legion Hall on West Wisconsin Avenue. A longtime volunteer at the Legion, Kuhner recently took on the project to give the drop-box a fresh look with a new paint job. Anyone with an American flag ready to be retired is reminded to drop it off in the box at the Legion so they can provide it a proper disposal. Those dropping off a flag are also reminded Post 93 sells three different sizes of American-made American flags, which would make a great Christmas gift.
