Tomahawk Leader - Photo Album

LAKE ALICE SWAN SIGHTING: Linda Barrows took this photo of a family of swans on Lake Alice last Tuesday. She noted the weather conditions, 25 degrees and winds gusting to almost 25 miles per hour, might have made for a bit of hard landing for the family that included two adults and three young. Each fall a few swans are spotted on Tomahawk area waters that make for a special spotting in nature. Last winter -seven swans a swimming- were spotted on the Jersey City Impoundment that appeared just in time to remind of the Christmas carol that includes -A partridge in a pear tree.-
